Teechers

We performed our group assessment on the play ‘Teechers’, in the first scene I played Hobby. Gail, Hobby and Salty are all really over excited with the fact they are leaving, Salty repeatedly shouts ‘Knackers’ to show freedom, he lets all his emotions out. They go through everything that they aren’t going to miss about their school. Hobby is constantly eating showing she is uncomfortable in herself, and eats to be happy. Gail chews her gum and twirls her hair to show she is girly, confident and makes her look in charge. We are all on stage for the whole of this scene, I would mostly sit down out of the way to show I am not as confident as Gail and Salty, I would be quite blunt with my voice and again, eating. I did all this because Hobby is very quiet, she doesn’t really like to be noticed, Hobby is quite a large girl so she shadows behind Gail, this is why she is not confident and eats to hide this.
