Assessment Teechers
In our first scene, of our class production of Teechers, my
interpolation of Miss
Maureen Whitham. When playing this Character I had to show Miss Maureen Whitham
being not in control. I did this by making the character talk
slightly slower and a little quieter also she didn’t move around very much. I did this because Miss Maureen Whitham, being a teacher who
can’t control her students, is a very soft teacher who doesn’t like to get in
anyone’s way.
In our
second scene we did a scene between Gale, Hobby and Mr. Nixon. Mr. Nixon
arrives late to his lesson. When he arrives to his class, five minutes late,
his is in shock to find all his students just sitting around doing nothing. The
scene then turns over to Hobby and Gale who are both just sat on the chairs.
Hobby is eating a chocolate bar and Gale is sat next to her talking to each
over. To do this we had Mr. Nixon over the other side of the
room talking to other students. Gale that notices Mr. Nixon on the other side
of the room and suddenly has a big smile on her face. Talking to Hobby when Nixon is walking
over to them Gale tries her best to flirt with him. We do this by
Gale walking up to Mr. Nixon and him pushing her away. We did this scene so the audience could
get the idea of the characters. Gale being the Flirt, Hobby being the fat one
always eating and Mr. Nixon being the new teacher trying to do his best as
being a good teacher around the school.
