Teechers
What
How
why
Our
assessment was based on the play Teechers.
Our
first scene was the Christmas scene at the start of act two. I played the role of Hobby who was a troublesome
teen who had many insecurity’s about her weight. Despite this she wanted to
shine and be treated just like anybody else.
Alice
played the role of Gail who was a outgoing flirtatious girl whom craved Centre
of attention. She was also a friend of Hobby’s and Salty’s.
Mackenzie
played the role of a shop keeper and Martin Roebuck.
We
showed Hobby as a insecure teen by talking quiet towards the start and lurking towards
the background. We also showed her constantly eating and wiping crumbs of her
shoulder. This
could mean that she dealt with her insecurities towards food as she used this
as a coping method. She could also use this as it will always be there. Towards the end of the
scene she got louder to show that she was a troublesome teen. This could also
show that she liked to keep her insecurities inside and block people out in her
own world.
We
showed Alice as centre of attention as always being at the front and being flirtatious
by kicking her legs and grinning like a chesser cat. We also showed she was out
going by talking loudly thoughout the seen. Which implies she is happy with herself.
The fact that this is in colour makes it really clear which part is which and it looks like your paragraph was a lot easier to write.
